Stari Most (Old Bridge)

A masterpiece of Ottoman civil engineering, Stari Most is a humpbacked stone arch bridge spanning the Neretva River. It stood for 427 years until its destruction in 1993 during the Bosnian War, and was meticulously reconstructed stone-for-stone using original materials, reopening in 2004.

Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge

An iconic 11-arch stone bridge crossing the Drina River in eastern Bosnia, designed by the greatest architect of the Ottoman Empire. It represents the summit of Classical Ottoman architecture and civil engineering.

Stećci Medieval Tombstone Graveyards

A serial World Heritage property of 28 stećak graveyards across four countries: 20 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2 in Croatia, 3 in Montenegro and 3 in Serbia. Monolithic medieval tombstones with carvings found nowhere else.
